Roger from North Fork recently shared with me his excitement over a brand new shed that he built from the ground up. He needed room for more storage.
All of the buildings and home on Roger’s property feature beautiful cedar siding.
Since he was building an additional building on his property, it was important to him that the siding be consistent with the other buildings. Roger sided the front side of the building with cedar siding that matched the other buildings on his property. He chose metal siding for the other three sides of the building because it was more economical. The manufacture of the siding he chose, uses a 3 step color process (It’s like they speckle painted it 3 different times) to give a very similar look and color to cedar siding. He says he is very happy with the outcome.
As Roger and I were walking around his property, he casually states I have been working on my property for years and Lemhi Lumber has supplied materials for most of my projects. The dog kennel below is fantastic, Any dog would be lucky to stay in this kennel when its owner is away for the day. Clean, shade, comfy house and great views of his property!
Chickens can reside in style in Roger’s chicken coop!
Roger enjoys sitting on his front porch that he built.
I asked Roger why he bought his materials locally. He quickly responded, “because I live here.” He continued to tell me that because he lives here, he wants to keep his money circulating in the community. Roger also told me he receives very good service with Lemhi Lumber and is very happy he can keep his projects locally and we at Lemhi Lumber are too!
